মসজিদ আস সুন্নাহ স্পেনের গ্রান কানারিয়ার দক্ষিণ টেনেরিফের লসক্রিসটিয়ানো অঞ্চলে অবস্থিত।আস সুন্নাহ হচ্ছে বাংলাদেশিদের নিজেদের অর্থয়ানে গড়ে তুলা টেনেরিফের সবচেয়ে বড় মসজিদ।এখানে প্রায় ৫০০ শত মানুষ এক সাথে নামাজ আদায় করতে পারে,আছে মহিলাদের জন্য আলাদা নামাজের ব্যবস্থা।আস সুন্নাহ টেনেরিফের একমাত্র মসজিদ যেখানে লকডাউনের সময় ঈদের নামাজের অনুমতি পেয়েছিল।
যেমন করে শুরু পথচলা
২০১৩ সালের দিকে অল্প সংখ্যক বাংলাদেশিদের বসবাস ছিল টেনেরিফে, নিজেদের মধ্যে ছিল না কোন সামাজিক সংঘটন,সেই সময় ওহীদ ইসলাম অসুস্থ হয়ে পড়লে এবং অপেন হার্ট সার্জারির প্রয়োজন হলে তার চিকিৎসার সাহায্যে জন্য সকল বাংলাদেশিরা একত্রে নিজের মধ্যে আলোচনায় বসলে জসীমউদ্দীন ভূইয়া বাংলাদেশ এসোসিয়েশন অফ টেনেরিফ গঠনের প্রস্তাব করেন,একে অপরের বিপদে এগিয়ে আসা নিজেদের মধ্যে ঐক্য এবং দেশীয় সংস্কৃতি চর্চার জন্য জাকির হোসেনকে সভাপতি এবং মনু দাদাকে সাধারণ সম্পাদক করে ২০১৩ সালে গঠন করা হয়েছিল বাংলাদেশ এসোসিয়েশন অফ টেনেরিফ।পরবর্তীতে নিজের মধ্যে চাদা কালেকশন মাধ্যমে ছোট একটি লোকাল বাড়া নিয়ে একটি অফিস নেওয়া হয়।পরবর্তীতে স্থানীয় বাংলাদেশি মুসলমান ও শিশুদের ধর্মীয় শিক্ষার কথা মাথায় রেখে এই অফিসকে বাংলাদেশি শিশুদের ইসলামিক এবং কোরআন শিক্ষা কার্যক্রম শুরু করা হয়। একই বছরে রমজান মাসে ঐ অফিসে তারাবির নামাজ পড়া হয়। মানুষ বাড়ার কারনে ২০১৫ সালে এভিনিদা সুয়েসিয়াতে আরো বড হল রুম ভাড়া নেওয়া হয়।জাকির হোসেন এবং আমির হোসেন মন্টু এর প্রস্তাবে বাংলাদেশ এসোসিয়েশন অফ টেনেরিফ এর সকলের মতামতের ভিত্তিতে এই অফিসকে মসজিদে রুপান্তরের মহতী উদ্যোগ গ্রহন করেন স্থানীয় কমিউনিটি ব্যক্তিত্ব জসীম উদ্দিন ভূইয়া ,শাহজাহান (রিন্কু), সিরাজুল ইসলাম, পাবলু আহমেদ, হারুন বেপারী, সাগর ভূইয়া, আলীম উদ্দিন, রুহুল আমিন, রফিকুল ইসলাম, আলি মিয়া, জাহাঙ্গীর আলম, শহীদউল্লাহ, লোকমান হোসেন আব্দুল মতিন, মঈন উদ্দিন, কামাল উদ্দিন সহ কমিয়নিটির সকলে । সেই সময়ে টেনেরিফের একমাত্র বাংলাদেশি ইমাম মহসিন আহমদের মাধ্যমে মসজিদের কার্যক্রম শুরু করা হয়েছিল।
বড় পরিসরে মসজিদ নির্মাণ
অনিয়মিতদের সহজে বৈধতা আর কাজের নিশ্চয়তা থাকায় অভিবাসীদের জন্য টেনেরিফ গন্তব্য হয়ে উেঠছিল বাংলাদেশিদের জন্য। অল্প সময়ে বাংলাদেশিদের সংখ্যা বৃদ্ধি পেলে এবং ছোট মসজিদে সবার স্থান সংকুলন না হওয়ার কারনে বাংলাদেশিরা বড় একটি মসজিদ নির্মামের মননিবেশ করেন, লস ত্রিসটিয়ানো এলাকার প্রানকেন্দ্রে একটি পিন্টিং কোম্পানির প্রেস ভাড়া নেওয়া হয়, সকল বাংলাদেশিদের কায়িক, অথনৈতিক সার্বিক সহযোগিতার অল্প দিনে একটি সুন্দর মসজিদ প্রতিষ্টা করা হয়। শুকরিয়া। এসময় অনান্য কমিনিটির মানুষেরা বিশেষ করে আলজেরিয়ান ইসমাইল এবং বশির; মরোকিস তিজানি, প্রেসিডেন্ড, ইসলামিক ফেডারেশন অব টেনেরিফে – ২০১৩, মোহাম্মেদ এবং সালেহদের অক্লান্ত শারীরিক, মানসিক ও আর্থিক সহায়তায় টেনেরিফের সবচেয়ে বড় মসজিদ ৩০০ মিটার জায়গা নিয়ে পুরুষদের পাশাপাশি মাহিলাদের নামাজের ব্যবাস্থাসহ আস সুন্নাহ মসজিদ এর যাত্রা শুরু হয়।২০১৯ সালের ফেব্রুয়ারিতে মসজিদের পাশের জায়গাসহ ৮০ মিটারের একটি লকাল আস সুন্নাহ মসজিদ পরিচালনা কমিটির মাধ্যমে সকলের প্রচেষ্টায় ক্রয় করা হয়।
মসজিদ ভিত্তিক নানান কর্মসুচি
আস সুন্নাহ মসজিদে রয়েছে বয়স্কদের কোরআন শিক্ষার ব্যবস্থা,বাচ্চাদের মখতব, ভাষা শিক্ষা এবং পাঠাগার।জুম্মার নামাজ এবং দুই ঈদের নামাজ আদায় করা হয় এই মসজিদে।ঈদ পূর্নমলনি এবং নানা ধমীয় অনুষ্ঠানে পালন করা হয় মসজিদকে কেন্দ্র করে।এখানে কেউ মারা গেলে লাশের দাফন কাফনের ব্যবস্থা করা এবং কেউ লাশ দেশে পাঠাতে চাইলে সব ধরনের সহযোগিতা করা হয় মসজিদ কমিটির পক্ষ থেকে।
ভবিষ্যত পরিকল্পনা
২০২০ সালে মসজিদ পরিচালনা কমিটি মসজিদের পাশে এবং মসিজের ক্রয়কৃত জায়গার পাশের একটি বার কিনার জন্য প্রস্তাব করেন ঐ বারের মালিক কে এবং তিনি বেচতে রাজি হলে আস সুন্নাহ মসজিদ ফান্ড কালেকশন শুরু করে এবং আসাকরি সকলের সহয়াতায় আমরা ২০২১ সালে ১০০% নিজস্ব জায়গায় আস সুন্নাহ মসজিদ যাত্রা শুরু করবে। এইখানে ভবিষ্যতে কুরআনে হাফিজ তৈরির লক্ষ্যে হাফিজি মাদ্রাসা বানানোর পরিকল্পনা আছে আস সুন্নাহ মসজিদ কমিটির। আমাদের নিজস্ব কোন কবরস্থান নেই তেনেরিফের মুসলিম কমিউনিটির জন্য। মসজিদের পাশাপাশি একটি মুসলিম কবরস্থান করার জন্য আস সুন্নাহ মসজিদ কমিটি সকলের কাছে সহয়তার আবেদন করিতেছে।
History
The As-Sunnah Mosque has rich a history spanning more than a decade. It is Tenerife’s biggest Mosque, serving communities in the heart of the Tenerife south, Los Cristianos and beyond.
In 2013 some notable Muslim figures decided to build a mosque in Tenerife and established the Bangladesh Association of Tenerife. Jasim Uddin Bhuiyan proposed to form Bangladesh Association of Tenerife, there was no social event among them, at that time when Waheed Islam fell ill and needed open heart surgery, all Bangladeshis came together to discuss his treatment. The Bangladesh Association of Tenerife was formed in 2013 with Zakir Hossain as its president and Manu Dada as its general secretary. Islamic and Qur’an education activities started in this office for Bangladeshi children. In the same year, in the month of Ramadan, Tarabi’s prayers were performed in that office. Due to the increase in the Muslim population, big hall rooms were rented in Avenida Suecia in 2015. At the suggestion of Zakir Hossain and Amir Hossain Montu, a great initiative was taken to convert this office into a mosque on the basis of the views of all. Sirajul Islam, Pablu Ahmed, Saeed Ahmed, Harun Bepari, Sagar Bhuiyan, Alim Uddin, Ruhul Amin, Rafiqul Islam, Ali Mia, Jahangir Alam, Shahidullah, Lokman Hossain Abdul Matin, Moin Uddin, Kamal Uddin and all members of the community. At that time, the mosque was started by the only Bangladeshi Imam of Tenerife, Mohsin Ahmed.
For the first one year, the club rooms were hired for Friday prayers and special occasions. In 2016 one big room is rent in avenida suecia converted into a Mosque.
As the number of muslims increased in a short time and small mosques could not accommodate everyone, the bangladeshi association decided to build a big mosque. And finally, A old unused printing press owner agree to rent his place and we rent it, it is in the heart of Los Cristiano area. With the financial support of all local muslim especially Bangladeshis, this press was converted into a mosque. Finally, in 2017 At first it seemed generously spacious, but before long it began to overflow on Fridays and during Ramadan and Eid.
Moreover, there was hardly needed the space and room for the growing number of projects based at the mosque. In 2019 the as-Sunnah Mosque ran a long and ultimately successful campaign to acquire adjoining land and we buy our land near this mosque and convert it Tenerife Muslim Centre opened in same year and start the adult and child education, language learning and community based services.
Various mosque based programs
As-Sunnah Mosque has an opportunity of teaching Qur’an and islamic basic knowledge to Children, adults, converted new muslims; language education for immigrant and library. Friday prayers and two Eid prayers are performed in this mosque. Eid reunion and various religious ceremonies are performed around the mosque. If anyone died here in Tenerife and wants his/her family to bury in their country, all kinds of cooperation is provided by the mosque committee.
Future plans
In 2020, the mosque management committee proposed to buy a bar next to the mosque and next to the purchased land of the mosque. Will. The As-Sunnah Mosque Committee has plans to build a Hafizi Madrasa here in the future with the aim of making Hafiz. We have no cemetery of our own for the Muslim community of Tenerife. The As-Sunnah Mosque Committee is appealing to everyone to help build a Muslim cemetery in Tenerife.
